Mayor's Address
After serving for 33 years on the Tallulah City Council, it gave me great pleasure to be elected as Mayor in November of 2019. Throughout my campaign when I spoke to citizens, I always said “I want to do what we can do” and by that I mean those things that we can readily do – such as cleaning up our city, keeping our ditches and culverts clear for proper drainage and being fiscally responsible with public funds. As we move forward, I want you all to know that I will be working diligently to ensure that in the very near future. Over the next two years we will work hard to provide clean drinking water to our citizens and to aggressively court new businesses to come to Tallulah. These are top priorities for my team. We will continue to work towards developing the Tallulah Industrial Parkway as a major economic driver not only for Tallulah but for the surrounding area. I am excited about our future and I ask each of you to work with me to return Tallulah to the GREAT CITY that it once was. Together, we can make this happen!
